LOW: While the risk is never zero, LOW severity means that there are no known threat actors working against the community, and that there is a low chance of an attack happening.
MEDIUM: MEDIUM severity indicates there are some threat actors working against the community, either constantly or sporadically, but they are not a severe threat. An attack is somewhat unlikely, but may happen.
HIGH: HIGH severity means that there is a significantly increased chance of an attack happening, with many threat actors thought to be actively working against the community. If an attack were to happen, the severity could be worse.
VERY HIGH: VERY HIGH severity is the highest severity if an attack is not extremely likely to happen soon, actively happening, or hasn't recently happened. When this severity is active, many extra precautions should be taken for the safety of community members. It is very likely there is one or more threat actor actively working against the community, and any attack could be very severe, targeting vulnerable or important assets or members of the community. It is very likely for an attack to happen.
EXTREME: EXTREME is reserved for when an attack is extremely likely to happen soon, actively happening, or has recently happened. There should be extreme levels of care taken.
Stay safe by checking on this page every few months. Updates will also be announced via Bloxay's Server on Discord if applicable.
From the creation of the community, there have been a number of threats and people working against the community to try to disrupt the community or cause harm to people.
The Security Status was created to alert community members of when there is a higher chance of attacks happening, among other reasons.
The Security Status is hosted on a website created by Bloxay, and the page itself is maintained by Bloxay.
The Security Status is updated by Bloxay and other notable community members when needed.
Evaluations happen every few months, and based off results, a Security Status is listed. These evaluations may not be publicly announced, and are based on a number of factors relating to the community, number of recent attacks, number of known threats and attackers, and more relevant information.
